Additional service pricing

Need Answer

In my first use of zipabox I took a look on additional paid services.

Something could be useful, but.. personal opinion, too too high price.


* I do not need, now, of these services so mine it's not a polemic message, and I don't want to interfere with yours pricing polices.*


Said that, I ask you: how much people subscribed these services? The number you expected?

Don't you think that a lower price can promote better the "additional services" road ?

I agree. Subscribing to three or more premimum features annually adds up to the cost of a Zipabox. I must admit some of the premimum features would be very nice to have, but at this cost unfortunately no.

Actually is inconceivable to think of paying for additional services. The system is too unstable and does not always work as it should.

To ask for money a stable system must be provided.


I'm having problems on problems, I have collected a ban here (still await an answer to the question); someone is helpful and kind in trying to solve problems, someone else not (makes irony) .. these conditions does not goes through my head to pay for additional services, in fact I'm thinking of selling it.

I await the fw v.1 and the new interface .. then I will decide.

Your zipabox is an innovative concept, but your strategy to have users

paying

monthly or yearly charges for something that can be considered as VERY BASIC services (such as usable charts...

hysteresis parameter... variable values in message or Http requests....)

is simply killing your product.


You can question what should be "BASIC" or "PREMIUM" service, but whatever your position is, the obvious is that this strategy is killing your box. It transforms the zipabox into a VERY EXPENSIVE solution, probably among the most expensive on the

Market when you want such services delivered.

Month and month ago I also requested a price table for SMS and call alerts. "Will be added". Today I'm still unable to find that price list.

Not a life or death thing.. but only a little bit more transparent.. I've not asked the moon.

Interesting... thanks for the advice... and it will be interesting to see how Zipato team handles their clients frustration towards their paid service strategy.


I am not sure banning users is the best reply to frustration... and it will not help Zipato to increase acceptance for their paid service or improve overall client satisfaction... We will see...

I really would like to have such a basic function as variables in my http-requests. But to enable that by subscribing the premium feature for €100 / year is just not worth it.
