Fixes for the Translation in WebUI to German

Oliver Lenz shared this thanks 18 months ago

Dear Zipato-Team,

In the german Translation of the WebUI / Puzzle / Rule-Generator you talk about "Wenn" for an event (for starting a Rule) and about "Falls, Sonst" for an IF-clause.

That's a little bit confusing ;-)

In the German grammar you talk about "falls", when it "could" happen (an event) -

and if you have a actual decision about something it's "wenn (condition) dann, sonst" -

So PLEASE change "wenn" to "falls" and "falls" to "wenn".

=> Falls (Ereignis) dann // on ( event) do

=> Wenn (Bedingung) dann (...) sonst (...) // if (condition) then (...) else (...)

Thank you! :-)

Oliver

P.S.: it is not possible to change it via translate.zipato.com, because both words are already in use - but crossed.

A second idea for the "Gerätemanager" - because it's used two times, what is verry confusing, too:

Just use the Word "Leitstand" - that's in Industry the Place where the people have all Buttons and Displays... i think that is the right word for this.

"Gerätemanager" is the word for adding and deleting Features - that's okay for the usage in the other way.

Sorry, I just noticed you already know about translation tool, I guess the best would be to submit a support ticket.
