How to pair Eltako actuators (Enocean) with Zipato

Ulvis shared this thanks 1 year ago

Is this at all possible ?

I would like to use a Eltako FHK61 relay actuactor as output. The Eltako pairing process involves putting the Device in learn ("LRN") and then paring with an Enocean switch or sensor by triggering the transmitter device (sensor). The actuator device stays passive in LRN mode during this time but will stop flashing its LED when a pairing telegram is received. This however I have not been able to figure out how to do using the Zipabox Enocean function. I have tried the Zipato edvice "EnOcean transmitter for discovery" but it only times out.

I also tried a FUD71 dimmer actuactor with no luck. I have not yet tested with an EnOcean signal meter to see if there is any signal from Zipato at all.

Open a ticket. I have an ElTako Enocean light sensor and I managed to add it with the "automatic detect" option but so far it's not working properly (always shows 600 lux).

Zipato have been reluctant to support these, on the ground that not many people are asking for it (so why sell the Enocean module??!!).

The more of us post tickets, the better chance we'll have of getting support.

I have the lux + presence sensor, a window contact, a room thermostat working. They are all Eltako.

I tested with a signal meter for Enocean and can get no reading at all when starting the onclusion procesess from the Zipabox ControlCentre using the "EnOcean transmitter for discovery". It seems that only actuators with an 'active' mode of inclusion can be used. The Eltako actuators that I have come across relies on a "teach in" process where one activates the sensors/switch/thermostat/whatever whhilst the actuator itself remains passive in "LRN" mode. Thus - no luck using Eltako actuators with Zipato. Does anyone agree or disagree ?

I don't know the details of how other devices are added. My light sensor had to put into inclusion mode by using a magnet supplied with the sensor which is put next to a square dot on top of the sensor. This is using the "auto detect Enocean device" option.
