How to use climate-widget only with a danfoss-valve and more

Until now I solved the temperature-controlling by rules but I like to do this by the climate-widget, because it's easy to create time-rules there. But it want's a thermometer and I have no - thats everything ruled by the valve...

Additional I want to set the valve-temperature to low if the window is open. Is this possible?

Next project is a terrarium an I will control the climatisation by the Zipabox. Here I have a heating-lamp which can be switched on and off. But I can dim it to. Is this possible with the climate-widget? Input with a temperature-sensor and output to a dimmer?

You can create a virtual thermometer and use this. Works fine.

Hello Niels,

To use climate-widget correctly you need thermometer.

"To set the valve-temperature to low if the window is open" you can achive this by using rules.

Climate-widget can not use dimmer for dimming, for dimming you should use rules.
