Popp keypad

Emil Korsian shared this thanks 5 months ago

Hi there!

I recently bought POPP Keypad to control the danalock through Zipatile control unit, inclusion is done and I see the POPP Keypad in my devices but I'm not able to create rules to get it functional with danalock. There come "no attributes" popup and no other functions.

Is there anybody who got them work together?

It most likely then hasn't been officially supported. You could try removing it and readding it. Also check to see if you are including it over secure or non secure inclusion process, as this also has different levels of usage after inclusion. (via z-wave settings)

Thank's for your reply, I've excluded, reseted and included again, same issue. There is one detail - when I put the keypad in the rule block it shows error message - "rule2java: Unknown element type" - see attached.

Yes, seems to not be officially included. You could check the Zipato device support page to see what devices have been supported by Zipato and this will help you make a better buying decision. Wait... they dont have one.

You could try here https://zipato.infoserv.wiki/zipato-devices-full-list/ but this hasn't been updated in a while though. Then again not sure how many new devices have been added/supported either. A few basic z-wave devices only, but nothing that would involve a deeper integration like pin codes.

I think the only way to get this supported is to pay ZIpato on an hourly session to get this done. This will cost you, allow Zipato to add support for a device they dont currently support, adding value to their system and benefiting every other user. If you are ok with that, I know its a little hard to find as there is no direct link form the Support Pages here, so here is the link https://www.zipato.com/shop?country=hr

Good Luck.

Hi Emil,

the Popp Keypad is supported. You need to add the user codes in Device Manager:

/c848df07b81a78ea05f5327617585778

and then:

/b0d5eba3784398de93f346e234f7d26e

Please if you have any other questions open a ticket because once you provide us with your controller serial number in a ticket someone can take a look in case you run into some issue.

Kind regards,

Borna

Thanks Borna, I've done that you suggested but it is remaining "no attributes" in rule creator and device manager, se attached.

Hi Emil,

Could you please open a ticket and provide S/N of your controller, with a short description of the issue so we can take a look?

Kind regards,

Paula

I suggest zipato to maintain their wiki pages https://zipato.infoserv.wiki/zipato-devices-full-list/

, it's bad to support a device and keep it quiet
