Zipatile / Zipabox i want to reboot my device once a day, anyway this is possible..
My zipatile freezes 1 or 2 times during a week. reboot will be an option I guess :D
Get a relay that has a parameter to auto turn on after a cetain time (for exampe qubino). Then set up a rule to start at a cetain time and set this relay to turn off...
thats no good :D the zipatile has a battery, so thats not the best solution :D
I have asked for this for years from Zipato. A simple LAN/local http command to issue to a controller to turn it off. But to this day, have never had any response as to what I can use. I dont think such a thing exists in their API.
I agree it is much needed and to be able to set a scheduled reboot of a device would be especially beneficial.
Good luck and let us know if you find a good solution.
True. Download tasker apk from apkmirror.com and install it on zipatile. Then set up a schedule to restart the android.

Yes, I thought the same. But no-one can tell me the http command to issue to the zipatile. The whole idea is to issue a local command to reboot if the tile goes offline. Using the zipatos "offline" mode just sends them into a boot loop. It would be good to set up a virtual switch too on another controller on the same network, that can issue the local command to get the controller back online. So please but very useful. Shame Zipato don't see it that way.
If you have a solution let me know please.
Solution is to launch a php script with a local server.
Install a web server on your phone and execute script.
Zipabox2 not freezes but connected modules do some times and this is very bad for device meant to be your security solution , reboot is the solution
I am not sure. I haven't tried it. Just try the following url:
from the rule creator (schedule)?
I tried to do this via rules as http puzzle. Does not work probably because it is https command.
Anyone has a solution?
