It's because the device is brand new and doesn't have the relevant entries in the master database quite yet. Simply change the device type manually to plugin and you'll be all set. It works flawlessly.

Scandinavians, kjell.com offers this device at a lower introductory price of NOK 299,- in Norway and probably similar lowered prices in other Scandinavian countries. ClasOhlson selss it for 399,-.

Yes I bought this at kjell.com at 299SEK. I have tried to change it manually but there is nothing to change to. 5f5cda2015bc260eed67448b433bd367

In the general tab, you can freely edit the device name, description, room, and device type.

If you open the list, you can (or you should..) choose the right device type.

if you can't, try to open a ticket at support.zipato.com

I got it synced with Zipato. With the help of m.nu .

But it seems like I have the same problem as Jimmy.

My switch sometimes "hang" itself, i could turn it on/off on my zipabox and the led light on switch change the colour but the relay didn't change. Only thing that fix that was to take it out from the outlet and plug it in again. So... This is what I did: I went back to kjell.com and got my money back and bought a real switch :)

Det suger ..

I have spoken to M.nu and they were quite surprised that it wasnt working.

I managed to get it to work after readding it 3 times. but it feels quite slow on reacting.

It seems like Telldus likes to do their own things.. :(

Tested to add it to my Domoticz system it just *Baam* . started to work directly.

I just came home with the Telldus Smart Wall Plug Z-wave and included it easily - then I experience the same issues as above with Jimmy's image with regards to changing the type in the second level "Group 2: On/Off control". Since I can't change the TYPE of DEVICE I can't see it or the switch. I can see the "Telldus Smart Wall Plug Z-wave" as a device if I check that in the first level and there I can also freely change the type of device but then I just get an eunuck device without the switch.

Is is also annoying that this device is classed as compatible by several z-wave vendor sites with the nice green check mark - so either they are wrong or I am missing something:

I works for me.

Only problem is that it shows true/false in the status instead of on/ff like all other devices.

After I added the device I had to unplug it before it was possible to control.

I tried that as well but with no luck so I returned it (a shame really as they are sold at a reasonable price in Sweden at places like Jula).

Got 3 of these working but only 1 is reporting the consumption right after 3 times. The other still showing wrong voltage / consumption.

Any suggestions?
