Where is ZIpatile 2?
Where is Zipato ?
Are they bankrupt ? Do they have other, bigger projects ?
- No development
- No IOS App (which has been promissed for over 3 years)
- No launch of Zipabox 2
Complete and utter silence....
Everybody prepare yourself to go another platform because if this is how you communicate to the market and your customerbase you will go out of business. Too bad they have the best tech but the worst business attitude..
Zipabox 2 is there. I have one for more than 2-3 months. And Zipatile 2 availabilty was explained somewhere on this forum. And IOS ... Well I have android and i am quite satisfied with it.
I have also had a Zipabox 2 for about 3 months.
@John Rabbit; You make it sound like everything is perfectly fine. But during the last couple of years Zipato has lost all credibility. Several times we have been promised updated apps and new hardware. The Zipatila 2 is delayed 6 months by now and the new ISO (AND ANDROID) app is delayed incredible more than 2 years.
Why promise when you know you cannot deliver?
The only - legal - reason I can think of is really really bad project and resource management!
@Thomas. Yes I am happy. 2-3 months ago support helped me when my old zipabox 1 broke down and i had to migrate to zipabox 2 and yes i don't have to wait for a new mobile app because i am happy with the current android app. And yes i don't need a zipatile, so i am not bothered with the current delay.
But since you are not happy: feel free to migrate to another platform. There are many of them : each of them with its own problems.
I am not talking about you being happy or not (I hope you are happy). Instead I am referring to Zipato’s complete lack of ability to deliver as promised and scheduled.
If I felt another system worked better than Zipato I would shift tomorrow - unfortunately I don’t. But that doesn’t mean that I am satisfied with more than 3 years waiting for a decent ISO app.
Try surf the forum and you see many other loyal but very disappointed customers. And it honestly worries me that things seems to be getting worse. It’s like Zipato doesn’t even try to comply with deadlines or apologies to their loyal customer base any longer.
