ZipaMicro - home solution options
Hello, I'm new user of ZipaMicro, I was trying to collectsome information across different places on internet, but still I misssomething. If anyone either experienced user or Zipato specialist can guide melittle bit I would be really gratefully.
To not get lost in it, I will divide my question indifferent points.
1) I would like to measure temperature of home heatingsystem by checking directly temperature of pipes. Do we have some temperaturesensor with external temp. probe? I havecurrently found only two suitable options , first is Fibaro FIBEFGK door sensor(out of stock, probably not sold anymore) second option is fibaro universalsensor(i'm not sure if zipato is fully compatible and it seems to be little bitconf. overhead because I need connect only one sensor probe. , but this devicecan have 4 )
2) What about types of connections available to ZipaMicro? Iknow that it is only z-wave device, but there are many available brands inmenu. Can we connect some devices over wifi? Like Google Nest devices? (I guessit is using wifi, I have not found any information regarding product usingz-wave)
3)I have just only common knowledge regarding http requestsand api calls, but I would to use them and pair ZipaMicro with rpi. Doesanybody found easy solution how to call bash script from zipato? I assume somehttp server on rpi is necessary. I think I could implement systemd control overhttp request with help from github project, but not tested yet. (https://github.com/ogarcia/sysdweb)
4) Can we somehow use Zipato mini keypad RFID to controldevices in our network differently than by using Home/Away buttons? There 5 morebutton, I still hope that there could be some combination of them to turn onheating or something:-D
5)What is purpose of second USB port on ZipaMicro device_ One is for charging but what about the second one?
6)I have purchased battery Li Ion as described in Zipamicro documentation, so it should probably serve as backup. If it is Li Ion battery, will ZipaMicro also recharge it if needed? :o)
