Existing Alarm Integration

Need Answer

The house I purchased had a Honeywell alarm system installed with wired door / window sensors and wired smokes. I purchased the Zipato Security Module and was going to transfer the wired sensors, but I'm starting to think that might not be the best idea. I really don't like that there is no indication of armed / disarmed state, nor is there entry / exit feedback from the controller (From what I've read). But I do like the RFID reader portion. Can the RFID portion of the Zipato keypad be integrated with the audio / keypad portion of a manufacturers keypad?

Is there a wired keypad that I can hook up to the security module and use that as opposed to the mini keypad that comes with the Zipato?

I started looking for ways to integrate an alarm with the Zipato and see that some alarms are supported via RS-232. An old post indicated that Honeywell was not supported, but mentioned DSC. I'm alarm stupid so I'm not really sure what I would need to buy to convert mine to one that can interface with the Zipato.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Sorry for all the questions, but the information surrounding the security module isn't very good.
