How to access a 433MHz Device with Zipatile Only (idea: IR)

Hi all,

I'm aware, that the Zipatile don't comes with 433MHz support. As I don't have another Zipabox with modules, I'm looking for a solution to run my motor screen, which is run by a 433MHz controller.

What I have is the IR extender.

So I thought about something like that: a device is recording a chosen IR signal and then sends the correct 433MHz signal to the motor screen. The IR signal could be sent through the IR extender.

Is there some sort of device that would and could do that?
