motion sensor problem in alarm

Hi,
I have a multi sensor (motion, luminance, door/window, temp) that I want to include in the alarm routine. The sensor can be included without any issues, and it correctly reports all events when I look at motion/no motion as well as door/window indications in the MyZipato IOS app.
When I include it in an alarm routine however, only the door/window part works correctly. The motion sensor is always "NOT READY", regardless of which arm state I select. What could be the problem?
A second sensor works exactly the same.
