Newtifry frustration: how to keep it working
After much frustration and annoyance I've discovered that there are two regular steps needed to stop the Newtifry push service from dying:
- Enter the Newtifry web page and reauthorise the service in Google (it will prompt you). It seems that Google only allows you to authorise it for 30 days (not sure if there's a way to get around this). Every 30 days, obviously.
- Enter the mobile app, go to Accounts and Sources, and press the refresh button at the top right. I'm guessing that you need to do this right after the first step - but I'm not 100% sure.
