Problem with Zipato 4-in-1 sensor not triggering alarm
I'm checking if anyone else has had a problem like this or knows what I might be doing wrong.
I have an intruder alarm setup with one zone. The zone is the door sensor on the Zipato 4-in-1 and is setup as a perimeter type. I arm the alarm (either Away or Home), wait for it to completely arm, then go and open the door. No alarm happens, though the door device now says the door is open. Also note that if I try to arm the alarm with the door open it will say it is "Not Ready", so it definitely knows the state of the door sensor.
If I add a motion sensor on the Zipatile to the same alarm as an interior type and arm the system Away, then move in front of the Zipatile, then the alarm triggers. So, I know the alarm is good.
Any thoughts?
