Tampereing of devices sets off Alarm when partition is disarmed

I have noticed that when I open up a device, say to change it's battery (ie, it has been tempered), the Alarm sounder will go on even though the partition is unarmed. Does this need to be "fixed" by a rule or is there a setting in the Virtual Alarm Pro to disable it when the alarm is unarmed ?
