Update on/off status Philips Hue light

Hello All,
In the bedroom I've got a hue bulb directly powered, and use a wall-switch in combination with a Qubino relay to turn on and off the light. This works good until another program is used to turn off/on the light. The Zipato does not automatically update the status of the bulb. So when the light is turned off by another program, the Zipato still thinks the light is on. Is there a way that the Zipato updates the status of the bulb ? There is an API from Philips Hue to get the status of the lamp by a HTTP request, but I have no idea how to use this gotten information futher. Maybe this information can be used to update the status of the light bulb?
