Zipato Zipatile wont start black screen with backlight, never used before

Hi everyone,
I have a Zipato Zipatile device that was plugged into power for years but has never been used or set up. Nothing was ever connected to it, and no configuration or software setup was done. It was simply plugged in and left like that. Official Website
Now I’d like to finally set it up and use it, but when I power it on, the screen shows a backlight, yet remains completely black — no logo, no image, no response.
Holding the power button does nothing, and I’ve already tried unplugging and plugging it back in, but there’s no change.
Is there any way to reset the device or update the firmware manually to get it working?

Hello,
a black screen with backlight likely due to firmware corruption or a dead battery after years of idle power. Try:
Hold Power for 30 sec
Power + Volume Down (try recovery mode)
Use different charger/cable
