How to power down zipabox with Backup Module connected
Need Answer
In order to connect the security module, it says that i must power down
the zipabox. How is this done properly once you have the battery backup
module already connected? Is there a shutdown command somewhere, or do you
have to disconnect the backup module just to install the security
module?

Yes, just disconnect the backup power module. I have done it a hundred times without a problem. Before or after power is disconnected has not been an issue yet. But I'd say before prefereably.

Hi,
very good question. I think you just have to disconnect the Bacupmodule.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm thinking just to be sure, i will let the backup module battery just run dry, and then let it recharge once i have my alarm system wired in and connected.
