How do I know when a light has been turned on from the switch?

I want to create some rules that change the way my motion controlled lights work. I've got the lights on a combination of Fibaro relays and dimmers, and I want to have them behave differently depending on whether they were activated by a motion sensor, or turned on using the hard wired switch.
I know it's probably possible to do this using the S2 input on the Fibaro modules, but for various reasons I don't want to do that.
Is there any way that the Zipabox can tell if the light was turned on locally?
