Setting the temperature in Nest seems to be hit and miss
Answered
Has anybody found a way to set the temperature in Nest reliably? It seems that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. And if I try to set the target temperature of two thermostats at once, the second one is less likely to work.

Nest support is very flaky. I really wish they would fix it properly....

I solved this problem in the end by using a brute force approach. I created a subroutine to modify the Nest temperature by using a loop which tries to set a given temperature, checks whether it has taken effect, and if not, sets the temperature plus 1, then tries again with the target temperature. This sounds odd, but it *seems* to work.

I solved this problem by giving up trying to get Zipato to control my Nest Thermostats. Its just too flaky
