How do you test the state of a Fibaro wall plug?

Since Zipato have chosen, oddly, to put all the attributes of the Fibaro wall plug on one device, you can't test the "on" and "off" states in the normal way you would for other sockets like the TKB. It seems that you have to test "off = false" (which is rather unintuitive) and "on = true". Would "off = 0" also work?

Is this right?

Hi Dave, Off = False is correct. but in this term the kettle OFF should be enough. Strange you have no correct endpoints when adding the device into a sensor puzzle.

But I can't just test kettle = OFF, can I?

So are those endpoints wrong?

I actually just bypassed this altogether by testing: current consumption = 0!

But I'd still like to know if this is "by design" :-)

Can you send a picture what options you have when inserting the plig into a sensor block?

See above!

That is the meter puzzle, the sensor puzzle is square not round edges.

Gotcha! Sorry. Yes, you're right, there's a separate sensor piece that allows you to test on or off directly. It never occurred to me to look. Thanks!
