Hi

I found out that there are new settings in the user settings of the dashboard.

Could you please explain us how to use them, and how these settings work?

Low power inclusion

Self inclusion

Secure self inclusion

Self exclusion

Controller shift

Update network

Thanks in advance

Self inclusion and secure self inclusion are used to include Zipabox into another Z-wave network in the role of a secondary Z-wave controller.

Self exclusion is used to exclude Zipabox from it's current network. After exclusion Zipabox will again take the role of a primary SUC/SIS controller.

Controller shift is used to switch roles (primary, secondary) with another controller in a Z-wave network.

Low power inclusion. When this option is enabled, Zipabox will use less powerful transmissions when including a device into a Z-wave network. This just means that when this option is enabled you have to place your device closer to your Zipabox when you are including it.

Ony low power inclusion is currently usable, the rest of the options will be operational later.

Thanks for your answer Marko. What about the "update network"? How will it work?

When will be activated the other settings?

The "Update network" can be used to get the updated list of Z-wave devices that are currently in the Z-wave network. This is necessary when Zipabox is in a secondary controller role and there's a SUC primary controller in the network.

What can happen in such a scenario is that a user can add or remove a device with the primary controller. The primary controller will not automatically notify the secondary controller of such changes in the network topology. The secondary controller has to ask the primary controller whether there have been any changes in the network topology. User will be able to do just that with the "update network" button.

When are available the rest of the options, to make an easy migration from other manufacturers.
