Does Anyone have a working setup for hikvision camera?

I want to get help with Hikvision camera setup. I read the forums, but to no avail. There are 8 Hikvison DS-2CD2045FWD-I cameras on a Hikvision recorder.

In the camera menu I changed the rtsp authentication to digest / basic. I removed the special characters from the password.

I get an error message, (creating the folder failure) when setting up the FTP connection.

I read two different settings for the camera settings in the forums, I tried both but to no avail. The rtsp settings are good because I see the stream with a VLC player.
