Definitely zipato's fault. auth.zipato.com is failing with a 502 bad gateway. Their nginx load balancers are fine, their back end is not. OAuth specifically it seems, as controlling devices through zipato itself seems to be fine. (Clearly, for their own calls they must be circumventing public OAuth)
Nevermind our devices stopped working, you can't even enable the skill if you're fresh.

I do not understand why these issues with zipato and alexa are always happening over the weekend when we are at home and we heavily rely on both of them working...?

This happens far too often. I’m strongly considering ditching my zipatile and reverting back to standard Alexa enabled devices.
