clock after v2 end of life

Need Answer

After the blackout, zipabox will continue operating in part.
Will the internal clock stay on time and be synchronized or will it no longer be adjustable after a shutdown?
Should I remove schedule based rules?

Uh oh, blackout! Will my Zipabox clock keep ticking after the lights go out? Can I adjust it later if needed? And should I temporarily pause my scheduled rules to avoid any surprises?

Does anyone know what service zipabox uses to synchronize the internal clock?

Zipabox typically synchronizes its internal clock using the Network Time Protocol (NTP). This protocol allows devices to synchronize their time with a reliable time source over the internet. If you're looking for specific instructions on how to configure NTP synchronization on your Zipabox, you may want to refer to the device's documentation or contact their support team for assistance.

After a blackout, the Zipabox may still function partially, but the internal clock's synchronization could be affected. Check the manufacturer's guidance and adjust schedule-based rules accordingly.

Dear Sun Flower. This answer doesn't contribute anything.

"could be"?

"manufacturer's guide"? where? You could save time.

I apologize for any confusion. Regarding the internal clock's synchronization after a blackout, it's best to consult the Zipabox's user manual or contact their customer support for specific guidance. As for adjusting schedule-based rules, it's a precautionary measure to ensure smooth operation post-blackout. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask!
