This is a short simple wired connection the extender extends the network signals and the range coverage. The main router or the extender needs to have the IP Sharing feature that is (DHCP). The NAT functions are disabled by default when you are on the firewall, IP sharing, and NAT functions. Ensure the Ethernet cable RJ-45 that you are using to connect the network devices should not be much more than 100 meters. Connect the router through the LAN port of the extender and router. After that, you connect the wire to the router, connect it from the computer, and write your IP address. When you are first time on the Netgear Orbi Setup page of the device, then you will be directly shifted to the quick page of the Internet Setup. So just choose the Advanced settings option. From the tab and then choose the Access Point mode and therefore select the save option.
