"Where used" function?

Does anyone know if there exist some kind of a "where used" search function? During my "experiments" I created many rules with variables, virtual devices etc... But some are not used any more (clean up required) and for some I would like to know in which rules they are still used.
It would be handy to have a function that searches in the whole set of rules, scenes etc...

Hey Lars, that's very helpful indeed (for devices only), and that brought me the idea, for variables, to just fill in the name of the variable in the search field of the rules (which isn't quite visible). This will only show rules containing that variable.
