Hi,
I have a zwave siren and sometimes it is not connected. How can I be informed if I loss the connection ? What rule can I use ?

Dear Jacques,
You can see when your device is offline if there is red dot next to the name in Device manager.
It would be best that you execute "Network heal" on your Zipabox so you could repair Z-Wave mesh network if there are routing problems. You will find Network heal under controller settings.
After you are done with the network heal you should no longer experience offline devices, but if you do then it would be advisable to add additional routing point between the box and your Z-wave Siren after which network heal should be executed to update the Z-Wave network routing table.

But the
offline indication seems only to be valid for mains powered devices.

powered devices just freezes the states and values without any indication…
