Under Consideration

Hi,

Does Zipato support Quircky products (https://www.quirky.com/) they use Zigbee, so would obviously need the Zigbee module

Many thanks,

Jon

Umm, Quirky are a group that try to develop ideas people put forth on their website. I do not think they stick to one protocol. They may use Zigbee or Zigbee Light Link or WiFi or Bluetooth, it all depends on the application. If the product uses a standard Zigbee HA1.2 profile, it may connect to the zipabox, but as with all products, z-wave or zigbee, Zipato will still need to fully implement it to get the full functions.

Hello Jon,

At the moment Zipato does not have custom descriptors for Quircky products. If certain Quircky products support standard Zigbee protocol you can try to connect them using Zipato Zigbee discovery to achieve basic functionality. For custom descriptor (if products support standard Zigbee protocol) you will need to send sample device so that custom descriptor can be made.
