How do Bindings work?

I use my Zipato Box now for nearly 2 years and I have to admit, that I never dealt with bindings and associations. Can someone experiences explain how it works. I tested a virtual switch and a fibaro switch. I put in the bindings tab of the virtual switch a klick where the fibaro switch is, it went green and than give this a name at the top. There is an option "native binding", I left that "on", synced my box but when I used the virtual switch there was not reaction of the fibaro switch.

Perhaps can the Zipato team write something?

Native binding only works with Zwave devices. Virtual device cannot be binded natively. Try without.
