Access Zipato Camera live stream [Developer]

I am an app developer that has been looking for a camera provider that makes it easy to integrate software with their hardware. Is there a way for a 3rd party to access the live camera stream? It appears as if an HTTP request can be made. Is that correct? Is it just password protected?
Also, where is your developer documentation. I initially started working with NEST, but became frustrated, because the only way I could work with the camera live feed was if we asked our users to make their cameras public. I think this is a better avenue to explore. Looking forward to your response.

I and my company have been using cameras from axis.com for many years. They're among the best out there, and they are easy to integrate in whichever application you want.
