Well, is it actually not supported at all? Have you tried? Maybe it is working just need to give it a go. Worst case zipato will add support if you raise it as an issue in support.zipato.com

Hello,

The device is added but not as a correct door/window sensor.

I have an open ticket created 18 April but no response from Zipato.

Have you changed the sensor type?

Yes sensor type changed but state is displayed wrong.

On/off instead of open/closed.

Dear All,

Our team has enabled fully support for this device.

@Tobias

We are happy to hear that.

Our team works very hard to constantly support and integrating new networks and devices.

Hello,

I have today added 3 of these senors without problem.

But....all 3 senors go offline randomly, sometimes there is a red dot on the device line, sometimes it's a yellow dot instead.

Battery level is reported between 92%-98%.

1. What does Yellow dot mean ??

2. Anybody having seen this problem ?

I refuse to think 3 pieces are broken...?

FW is 1.0.17

Hi, I have two of them and I have the same issue with red/yellow dot/indication.

I have the same issue. But the sensor works fine.

I have another issue. I can't see the battery level.....

Hanspeter,

I have a battery symbol for each sensor. If you have it, just point the mouse cursor on it and it will show the remaning battery capacity.

If you don't have the battery icon/symbol, maybe you need to exclude/include the sensors again or maybe they are a little bit old and require a FW upgrade ???

Yellow dot means that the controller hasn't received the "wake up" message from the device in the time specified, still not considered offline. Try to make a network heal after you have installed the sensors in their final location, make sure you wake up manually the device when non-repeater nodes are being scanned. You can do it from device manager >> Gearbox icon on Z-wave network >> Network heal.

Torbjorn,

I have different sensors with battery. But for a few days I don't have a battery level for the aeotec windows sensor and the aeotec multisensor (see picture). And both are new....

I've just added my first one of these sensors to my system and I'm experiencing the same problems as mentioned above.

1. I've selected "Door Sensor" as device type but state is still shown as "Sensor On/ Sensor Off"

2. Getting yellow dot once or twice a day.

I've tried deleting and re adding the sensor, in both secure and standard modes, with the same result.

The only thing I've noticed is that the parent device type is listed as "Undefined" and can't be changed.

The firmware version is 1.2. Is there anything I can do, even through the API to fix these issues?

Thanks,

Darren

Raise a ticket. If a door sensor shows as sensor on/off and the root device is unidentified then it definitely is missing descriptors.

I had same problem battery powered sensors not showing battery status. I had this provlem with latest firmware. I had to revert to 1.1.38 to have them shown correctly again.
