In Sweden there is a campaign 50% discount on this sensor and perhaps this is worldwide? It would be really nice to have a rain sensor connected to the Zipato controller that both report when it starts to rain and the amount of rain that has fallen within a certain time. The POPP Z-rain can do just this but unfortunately it's not supported by Zipato.

Hi Helle,

I agree that you can include the sensor but I wouldn't say it's supported fully. The only configuration you can do is to set the wake-up time and nothing else. Maybe you can explain to me what the below values mean?

Hi there,

I have the same Values:

Rain_Rate 0.00mm/h is the actual rain.

Curent_Consum and General_Purpose_Value are the same Values.

Its the Overall Rain Rate.

The Popp Z-Rain is included as undefined typ.

Associations are not possible.

Rain rate can not be used in rules.

Only: The measurements are displayed correctly.

Will this device be supported by ZIPATO?

I created a ticket the 28th of June 2017 and this is the latest status from the 27th of July:
