Aeon Sirene Gen 5 - no sound

Hallo!

I have an Aeon Labs Sirene Gen5, Fibaro Motion detector and a virtual switch.

Sirene works fine if i trigg it from app or pc. Fibaro detects motion and i can see it on dashboard.

So i have a simple rule (see file nr1) - when there is a motion, if the switch is on sirene have to sound.

But it doesnt. I can see in dashboard that the siren goes high, but there is no sound (see file nr 2).

Thank you in advance

Are you sure that the motion sensor is working and the switch is on?

To test >> put some e-mail messages in the rule....and put a JOIN in the rule.

I did and im sure the rule working that way -

when motion detected Sirene goes high but there is no sound - just like on larm2 screenshot.

When i turn on/off sirene from app it works (sounds). The rule worked with sound only the first time after i create it.

Then i turned off sirene waited for No Motion from fibaro and activated fibaro again. I get Motion and Sirene went high but w/o sound....

Maybe your box is not syncing like it should/sync is not working.

Make a new rule to test if the sync works. Keep it stupied and simple :)

Give me an example of sync testing rule pls.

Is it gonna work with 3-4 virtual switches - when 1 is on turn 2 on and 3/4 of.

When 2 is off turn 1 off and 4 on etc...

Sure ill do it.

And thank for replies.

Ill do some tests too with switch instead of fibaro to eliminate fibaros factor.

I think i figured out it.

My rule is:

When switch X on

Siren = on

Wait 20 sec

Siren = off

So it works every time when i wait 20 sec and restart the rule.

The weird thing is that when i force siren OFF from app it doesnt sound next time i start the rule.

Seems like bug but i dont know is it in my box or its the siren.

Conclusion is "Do not force turn OFF the siren" :)
