Hi,

how do i add sound to my push notifications?

i cannot see any option in the android app or online

I had the same problem and I found the solution: During a Zipato push notification, keep pressing the notification and the options "alert" and "Silent" appear, select "alert" and the problem is solved.

sound settings for notifications should setup under Android configuration for each particular application. There is no sound settings for the push notifications in Zipato application.

this does not work for me, i still get no sound notifications from zipato, the phone only vibrates

In order to push notifications with sound, you have to include a push notification audio file in the push payload. To do this, you need to upload an audio file to your push-enabled cloud endpoint. Once you have an audio file, you must encrypt it using AES encryption and upload the encrypted version of the push notification audio file as a custom key and if you need more details then check here to get all the procedures.
