Hi new to zipato, I am trying to figure out the best way to get Aeon Z-wave dimmer to dim with a Nexa-LWST605 push button (or any push button for that matter.

I use a When block and pu a Sensor block and swith in (on the switch i have the options : off ,on, any)

i thought i might need to use toggle ? i set it to on.

Use a action block and use dimmer inside.

Then i Can use gotovalue, on, off etc

Is the settings on my swith wrong or how do i do this.

I guess this should be a easy rule but its my first time with homautomation.

Have made many other rules with help from youtube :) but this one i couldent find ..

Can you post the rule?

Should be like this:

When Nexa = Any

If Nexa = On

ACTION Aeon gotovalue (100)

else

ACTION Aeon gotovalue (0)

Ok dident get a chance to try it since I was going home Today, but Thanks for the help.

I see there is also an output on the aeon dimmer, that according to the diagram should be connected to a push switch.. As i am going to have it in a box i might try to connect it to that also..

Shouldn't need to physically connect the module to the switch. It will all work wirelessly. 433mhz signel from switch to zipabox, then z-wave signal from zipabox to dimmer module.

Once you get confident with the rule making you can explore other options with the switch also.

i have one running on an enocean switch(basically same switch) that looks like this.

one button (was) controlling my sonos speaker. One button was an all off scene. One button would turn the light on if it was off to 100%, but if it was on it would turn it off. Giving the button two uses. The last button would act as a sort of dimmer, switching between 50% and 100%. These values could be any value really.
