Camera password problem "*?!$£

Is there a problem with zipabox camera integration if the camera have passwords containing special keys like "?=)*(# or similar?
I could not get My camera to work correct with zipabox until I changed the password on the camera to a less complicated one without these keys.
All other integrations with webb camera I have had outside zipabox have worked including direct streaming with vlc with the complex password.
