Character set in e-mails?

Why Zipabox does not send Finnish letters in e-mails? Message will be cut from first letter which has umlaut.

I tried to send the message "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzåäö1234567890 Hello", what I got was "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz".

What to do?

Charset in e-mail notifications, rule names, push notifications etc should now be fixed.

If you're still having a problem, please open up a ticket with "CHARSET" in title so we can inspect it further.

Maybe you need to URL encode the text. The error might be that the web GUI sends the string to the server using HTTP(S), and special characters need encoding.

(This certainly is the issue when doing HTTP requests with the http puzzle)

Thanks Marius. I tried the text encoding.

The sent message was: "Test: Älä lyö Åkea, ööliä läikkyy! Encoded"

Encoded: "Test%3A+%C3%84l%C3%A4+ly%C3%B6+%C3%85kea%2C+%C3%B6%C3%B6li%C3%A4+l%C3%A4ikkyy%21+Encoded"

Received message was encoded, impossible to read.

Some time during yesterday and the night was earlier test text shortened also in message configure to "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz".

I used to have this problem with the Norwegian character det. The issue was fixed in 1.1.18 or 1.1.23.
