Controller Failure
Known
Earlier today, my Zipato controller quit working - as in no LED lights - nothing.
I tested the power converter with a meter and it shows 12.26v. The converter is plugged into an APC UPS and I tested it plugged into other outlets, with same results.
It appears totally dead. The dealer is replacing it and I've entered a ticket with support asking if they can transfer my ZWave devices to the replacement unit or if I have to re-register everything (which will be a pain).
Has anyone else had a controller failure/replacement and if so - is the device info stored on their servers and downloadable?

Hello Tim,
Unfortunately there is still no backup feature available so you will have to re register your devices and recreate your rules.

ugh - received the same info a few ago from support. I have since found other threads on this topic going back over a year, along with comments from Zipato that it is something which is being developed.
Once I get the controller replaced, I will be making a lot of screenshots and better notes.
