Disable Wakeup Interval
How do I disable wake-up on a device?
I'm having issues with my Aeon Labs Recessed Door Sensors along with my Key Fob. The batteries last about a month if I'm lucky as opposed to the 1+ year the manufacturer claims. I sent them an email and they advised that I disable the wake-up interval by inputting a value of 0. Unfortunately, I can't do that with the Zipato. It gives me an error that the minimum value is 4 minutes.
Here is what the manufacturer responded to my inquiry with:
"For both devices, I would suggest that you disable the wakeup interval of the Recessed Door Sensor Gen5 and Key Fob by setting the wakeup interval to 0.
The Key Fob by default should have its wakeup interval set to 0, but if not, i would suggest you do so, since every command or communication wirelessly would eat battery life.
Both units should be able to function properly in your gateway without reporting its wakeup and would conserve your battery power in the long run."

I think you need to open a ticket in zipato support. Other causes that may have draining battery are that they're far from zipabox/zipatile and there are no repeater nodes closeby.

It can't be a distance thing, since they are only a few feet away from the light switch that they control.
