Edit STATUS field yourself

I think it is a good idea to be able to edit the STATUS yourself.
For example, my curtains have the on/off status, i want open/close.
Projection screen is now on/off, i want up/down.
etc. etc.
If you can edit the status field you don't have this strange behavour.
I like this idea

Only by STATE i cannot save the Device Type, it just keeps empty.
