Expected data usage on backup module

I'm thinking about using the backup module and having a USB with SIM to have a second communication channel for my home alarm.
I'm now looking into what plan I should use since it will not be used most of the time, a pure data plan can be €10/month, but an IoT plan will be as little as €1/month, but I pay per Mb.
What would be the expected data usage?
Can I limit video streaming?

I think that is a question for Zipato Support. About video streaming you can always pick if you want to see low res or high res stream. I would think, if you are going to use this as backup it wont be much.
