Fibaro Switch 2 Supported ?

Need Answer

Hello,

I already have Fibaro switches FGS-212 and FGS-222 in my system but need also Power Metering function on some switches.

I have noticed that Fibaro has released new Switches (Switch 2) with the partnumbers FGS-213 and FGS-223, now also including Power Metering. (I suspect, with the same functionality as in the Wall Plug)

Anybody who can confirm the the new switch 2 is fully supported by the Zipabox/Tile and from which FW version ?

Best Regards

Torbjorn

Today, I included a Fibaro FGS-213 switch with power metering. Although the switch and power meter are working OK, I got an error meassage after inclusion saying "Problem adding the device," and then saying something about security descriptors could not be loaded....

Is there anybody who has, successfully, added this "NEW FGS-213 switch 2"to the Zipato system?

Best regards

Dear Marko,

I will try tomorrow, the switch is somewhat difficult to reach...

I will report back the results.

Hello Marko,

The FGS-213 (Single Switch With Power Metering) was excluded and included again. No error message but shows up as 2 "Binary Actuators" under "Generic On/Off". There is One meter with Current/Cumulative consumption but I miss theese parameters in the Meter section of the rule creator....

I think I need to create a ticket...??

best regards

I just add the FGS-223 and inclusion went ok and I can control the switches. The only problem is that it shows up as 2 binary switches and there are no parameters available.

I deleted the module again and I will wait until the device is properly supported.

Same problem here, FGS-213 was added correctly, but I can't see any parameter and the device is shown as a binary switch.

It seems that this device is not fully supported at the moment.

FGS-213 is supported fully, you might have a problem with applying the correct descriptor.

Open up a ticket with your box serial number and I'll be sure to check it out.

Cheers,
