Hi all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to update the firmware on a Fibaro dimmer 2?

And offcourse, if yes.. how?

Hi Robin.

No you can´t.

You need a Fibaro Controller (HC or HCL) for updating firmware on Fibaro devices.

That´s a very complex topic.

Fibaro itself says that they would cooperate with manufacturer of controller of other brands, but my guess is that they just say this public to blame other manufacturer.

This is an issue of almos all other systems and nothing Zipato specific. You can find the same topic in every forum of every brand.

I would also hope there will be a way in future as it is not ideal for no one.
