Firmware Update Lightify

Need Answer

Dear all,

I included an OSRAM Lightify LED. Unfortunately it makes an enoying sound. On the internet some users experienced the same, but a firmware update solved the problem - so they reported. Is there any way to update the firmware of these bulbs (without having the OSRAM Lightify gateway)?

you would be better of asking this on the Osram forums, or search for it on Google/Bing?

Sorry if I got something wrong, I assumed this to be a forum for users of Zipabox.

As I assume it to be an issue of providing firmware to the OSRAM LED via Zipabox I actually didn't feel to be wrong here. Sorry to have disturbed you.

Wolfgang. Currently Zipato does not officially support OTA firmware upgrades and even if it would, I guess it would relate to Zwave and not Zigbee devices.

As Darkwing said, best bet is to ask Osram forums first. I think it is highly likely that you would either need to get the Osram hub or find someone who already has to get it upgraded.
