Firmware Update (v1.0.17)

Need Answer

Maybe I missed the thread, but I logged into my box this morning for the first time in awhile and was greeted with a please upgrade to v 1.0.17. I looked around to see if there were any feedback threads, but didn't see anything. I'm currently still on the 0.9.9999.8e.

Did they end up starting to charge everyone for connection to the box? I'm afraid to upgrade without any feedback as things have been working well.

Maybe I just missed the discussion.

@Nathan,

There's been no discussion in this forum about the transition from < 1.0 to > 1.0, other than it is more stable and fixes issues, i.e. no discussion about any potential commercial issue relating to this.

I would suggest you upgrade, though...

Thanks Robert.

I wonder why it's been so quiet with regards to coming out of beta? Unless it's stable and there isn't anything to complain about, which would be awesome. :)

There are still issues, but from most comments here, they are mostly minor and not actually showstoppers.

I'm also surprised it is so quiet here regarding v1.0.17.

The firmware isn't even announced here in the section where the 0.9 versions were announced. So, is it a big progress?

I'm also still no 0.9.9999.8e. Can I go back to that particular version without problems, if 1.0.17 is not OK? Because the alarm and climate control (shutters, etc.) have to work flawless, and 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'.

But in the near future I want to add Hue. I think an upgrade is necessary then, to get the endpoints.

We strongly suggest that you guys upgrade your controllers to 1.0.17.

As Robert said, there are still some minor issues which shouldn't be showstoppers, but overall this is the most stable firmware currently available in my opinion.

Cheers everyone,

Vedran

What modules do users in general have to reconnect after going to the last stable version?

My experience also suggests this is a very stable version.

Did you have to reconnect some modules? Which one?
