Force device reset which have been deleted from the controller

Hi, i added a newly bought ZM1601 siren to the zipato box and after that i deleted it with the delete button when i had the batteries removed. Now i cant add i again. it there any way to do a hard reset on the device without having the device on a z-wave network?
exclude-instructions for the device itself just seems to cover when the device is in a zwave network.
long story short for the reason why i did this? i panicked when the tamper-alarm fired during the mounting on the wall... damn its loud.. :)
