get alarm state in IF rule?

how do i get the alarm state in an if rule?

i seem to be only able to get the sensor events not the actual state.

Paul,

The attached example would be a rule triggered by any change of state ("attribute") of the alarm system, you can add any action for the different states. Use "attribute events" while using sensor blocks and use meter blocks with operators to check which state the alarm has.
