Help installing Foscam FI9828P camera
I have bought a foscam FI9828P and have sucessfully installed it with the Foscam app.
Here is what i have done:
Installed the camera, set it to fixed ip
Opened the ports on my router (dont know if its nessecary.
Scaned for camera in ziapto add device, (cant find it)
Put in the Ip manually. and added the port 88
Added username and password for my camera (in the camera settings)
Foscam states in their manual that you should use one of the following:
1) rtsp://admin:123@192.168.1.11:88/videoMain
2) rtsp:// @192.168.1.11:88/videoMain (i have used this since ive added the username in the box ?
3) rtsp://:123@192.168.1.11:88/videoMain
4) rtsp://admin@192.168.1.11:88/videoMain
I also tried to add camera without setting port in the add camera box.
Still the same.
I also have problems using the zipato ftp server on the foscam,
When i copy paste the information:
Adress, Username, Password
(there is no box to add directory in the foscam app)

Fiddling whis this for hours, i wil be happy just to get a live stream,
I also need to try to get my to latest fiabro dimmers working... :(

for snapshot use this. change to your ip nr = xxxxxxx
usr = username for your camera pwd=password for your camera

But unfortunately this camera cant use zipato ftp server. This camera creates a new folder when it upload picture and zipato ftp server dont allow creations of folder.

No. you cant send snapshot in email, because of zipato ftp server will not receive any picture from the camera.

So, the inference here is that Foscam cameras aren't compatible with the Zipato system?

Ok i have tested the path you said, it stil wont stream, i will try a little bit more and maybe open a ticket.
The foscam app i think is working ok for now
