HomeAutomation v1.1 profile HA1.1 for roller shutter shades
Need Answer
Hello there
I am about to buy a ZipaBox to connect my home and am quite new to all this automation stuff. I have roller shades from Profalux, a french brand which claims their motors comply to the ZigBee homeautomation 1.1 profile. I have searched the forum and haven't found an answer to this question :
Is the zipato zigbee module compatible with this profile ?
Thanks for your answers

Regis,
In theory yes, you need the ZigBee expansion module attached to the Zipabox, although there are some devices with some extra functionality that not always work and updates are required. You can create a zipato account in https://my.zipato.com/ and then log in https://support.zipato.com/ and ask the question. Sometimes Zipato guys don't read all the topics in this forum. PS. You don't need the box to register.

Has anyone ever tested Zigbee devices from Wulian, a Chinese home automation manufacturer that uses Zigbee?

And it looks like it's a bit the same with Profalux. They claim using ZigBee but they use proprietary commands....
I still haven't found a cheap and standrad way of connecting my shades to my ip network.
